Wallpaper - Study

Our Study wallpaper, created in collaboration with Wild Apple Portfolio, brings together a balanced grid of painterly color blocks in rich, grounded tones. The composition pairs deep forest green, slate grey, warm ochre, muted tan, terracotta, and olive green, each square showing visible, brushstroke-like texture that gives the geometric structure an organic, painterly feel. As one of our distinctive mural wallpapers, it introduces an artistic presence to the wall without overwhelming the space. Printed to your specific measurements, our wallpapers are PVC-free and produced on paper with a subtle physical surface structure that complements the painted appearance of the design.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well in a living room, dining room, or a dedicated home study where its structured yet expressive character can anchor the space. Because the design is organized into broad color blocks, it looks especially confident on a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full grid layout has room to breathe, such as behind a low sofa or along a dining wall. In a home office or library, the earthy palette brings visual warmth and an intentional, studio-inspired atmosphere without feeling cluttered. The painterly variation across each block catches natural daylight softly, revealing the nuanced tonal shifts across the greens and warm earth tones throughout the day.

Styling it

To let the graphic presence of our wallpaper take center stage, we would pair it with furniture that has clean, architectural lines and quiet finishes. Mid-century modern or contemporary wooden pieces in mid-toned oak, walnut, or stained ash echo the warmth of the ochre and terracotta squares without competing with the wall.

For surrounding seating and textiles, we recommend simple, substantial fabrics in unbleached neutral tones, warm charcoal, or soft canvas. Keeping large upholstery solid and textured rather than heavily patterned allows the rhythm of the mural to remain the focal point of the interior. Matte black accents or understated brass hardware on light fixtures and shelving can subtly reinforce the structured geometry of the grid.

Colour combinations

The design itself is grounded in an earthy palette of olive and forest greens, terracotta, warm ochre, slate grey, and muted sandy brown.

When choosing colors for adjoining walls, trim, or large architectural elements, we suggest looking to warm off-whites, pale stone, or light greige to keep the overall room open and balanced. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out a muted olive green or a deep warm umber for surrounding painted woodwork creates a sophisticated, continuous color relationship across the room.
