Wallpaper - Branch Study II

Our Branch Study II wallpaper by Krystal Adams brings an expressive botanical study to life against a deep black backdrop. The motif centers on reaching, warm brown branches carrying soft clusters of blossoms rendered with a painted look in delicate shades of cream, pale blush pink, dusty blue, and muted yellow, accented by fresh green foliage. The contrast between the dark ground and the pastel floral tones creates a striking visual balance across the wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

In a bedroom or dining room, we see this design working beautifully on an accent wall behind a bed or dining table, where the flowering branches have room to spread across the view. The deep dark backdrop gives the space an intimate, enveloping character, while the lighter floral details prevent the wall from feeling heavy. Because the motif features distinct organic branching, it works particularly well on wider, uninterrupted wall areas where the full composition remains clearly visible rather than broken up by tall furniture.

Styling it

We would pair this design with clean-lined furniture in warm natural wood tones to echo the painted branches in the motif. To let the artwork hold focus, keep surrounding surfaces relatively quiet and simple. Upholstery in soft neutral tones such as off-white, oat, or charcoal complements the dark ground, while small accents picking up the muted petal shades can tie the room together naturally without competing with the wall mural.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a deep black background paired with warm wood-toned branches, soft petal shades of blush, cream, pale blue, ochre yellow, and muted foliage green. For adjacent painted walls and woodwork, we suggest warm chalky whites or soft stone tones to create a balanced contrast against the dark background. If you prefer a richer, more continuous atmosphere, a charcoal or very dark graphite on surrounding trim creates a cohesive, grounded look alongside our mural wallpapers.
