Wallpaper - Playful Vase III

Created by Cheryl Warrick, our Playful Vase III wallpaper brings a lively, graphic still life to the wall with bold color contrast and expressive shapes. The composition centers on a speckled turquoise vase filled with stylized, cream and pink rosettes, framed by deep teal foliage and set against an intense cobalt blue background. Down below, a coral pink and cream checkered tabletop anchors the arrangement with a playful, hand-printed visual character. Like all our wall murals, this design is custom made to your dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because the motif works as a large, bold still life composition, we like this design best on an accent wall where the full arrangement has room to breathe. In a dining area or kitchen, it creates an inviting focal point behind a dining table, bringing visual warmth and character to everyday gatherings. It also works wonderfully in a creative home office or an entryway, where the strong cobalt backdrop and graphic floral forms greet you with immediate energy. For living rooms, placing this mural wallpaper behind a low sofa or credenza lets the vase and blooming flowers stand out without competing with taller furniture.

Styling it

We recommend letting the wallpaper take center stage while keeping surrounding furniture clean-lined and understated. Contemporary furniture in light natural wood or crisp painted finishes works particularly well, balancing the strong graphic forms without overwhelming the space. To harmonize with the artwork's artistic personality, pair it with simple, tactile ceramics and unpatterned textiles in off-white or soft terracotta.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a vibrant palette of deep cobalt blue, turquoise, coral pink, creamy white, and dark teal. To complement these shades, we suggest surrounding the wall with soft, warm neutrals such as creamy whites or pale oatmeals that mirror the rose petals and tabletop grid. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deep teal or a muted terracotta for adjacent trims and doors creates a cohesive, design-led atmosphere.
