Wallpaper - Poets Garden V

Our Poets Garden V wallpaper by Deborah Revell brings together a vintage envelope addressed in cursive script, an Australian postage stamp, and a delicate white-flowered botanical sprig taped gently across the paper. Set against a soft, weathered pale turquoise background with subtle paper grain and aged parchment tones, the composition has a quiet, nostalgic presence on the wall. Made-to-measure according to your room dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers are designed with a subtle physical structure in the paper that complements fine, artful details.

In the room

Because Poets Garden V works as a central, narrative composition, we see it working beautifully on a main feature wall where the horizontal letter and botanical elements can be viewed without being heavily cut off by furniture. In a bedroom, placing this design behind a low headboard allows the handwritten calligraphy and delicate white flowers to anchor the space. It also brings an intimate, poetic atmosphere to a quiet reading nook, a dedicated study, or a guest room.

For living spaces, we suggest choosing a wider, uninterrupted wall so the balance between the central epistolary motif and the open, faded blue-green backdrop remains clear and calm.

Styling it

To complement the delicate, vintage character of this mural wallpaper, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture relatively light in profile. Slender painted wood or soft mid-toned timber pieces harmonize naturally with the aged paper tones without competing with the detailed stamp and cursive handwriting.

For textiles and surrounding accents, unbleached cotton, washed linens, and understated ceramics echo the organic, gathered feel of the botanical stem. Keeping adjacent accessories simple and uncluttered lets the fine line work and gentle details of the wallpaper take center stage.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design balances muted seafoam, soft celadon, and chalky turquoise with creamy vintage whites, pale parchment, and warm sepia ink tones. Subtle accents of olive green in the flower stem and a touch of golden yellow in the postage stamp complete the motif.

When painting adjacent walls or selecting major furnishings, soft chalky whites, warm off-whites, and gentle ecru create a seamless, airy transition. If you want a slightly richer contrast, muted slate blue, vintage sage, or soft taupe echo the weathered tones found across the letter and background.
