Wallpaper - Abstract Stems V

Created by Cheryl Warrick, our Abstract Stems V wallpaper pairs bold, graphic floral shapes with a subtle grid background. Two vibrant magenta pink blooms rise from curving, leafy olive green stems, set against a soft off-white, light grid backdrop with a gentle printed texture. What we particularly like is the playful balance between the clean lines of the background grid and the organic, painterly quality of the petals and leaves. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

The cheerful, graphic nature of this floral mural wallpaper makes it an expressive choice for spaces that benefit from a lively focal point. We see this working beautifully in a creative home office, a welcoming entryway, or a bright bedroom where the bold floral motif can anchor an accent wall behind a desk or bed. Because the forms are large and clearly defined against the lighter grid ground, the pattern maintains its visual impact without feeling overly busy across medium to larger uninterrupted wall areas.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we suggest leaning into its modern, illustrative character with clean-lined furniture and simple silhouettes.

• Balance the strong magenta florals with furniture in light natural wood or warm neutral tones to let the artwork remain the clear centerpiece.
• Echo the graphic grid background with understated, structured accents like simple ceramic vessels or minimalist shelving.
• Introduce soft textiles in muted greens or creamy off-whites that harmonize with the background and leaf tones rather than competing with the bright petals.

Colour combinations

The design centres around rich magenta pink blossoms and earthy olive green foliage, grounded by a warm off-white and pale tan grid background. To build a cohesive room around this wallpaper, we recommend pulling the soft cream or light warm beige from the backdrop onto surrounding painted walls and woodwork. If you want to introduce additional depth through larger furniture or accents, muted moss green and soft linen neutrals complement the botanical elements naturally, while keeping the overall palette fresh and balanced.
