Wallpaper - Last Warm Day

Designed by Krystal Adams, our Last Warm Day wallpaper captures the luminous atmosphere of an open meadow bathed in late-season sunlight. Soft washes of sky blue fade into warm golden yellow, ochre, terracotta, and olive greens, with dappled brush marks suggesting grasses and wildflowers across a sunlit field. We particularly like how the fluid watercolor-like transitions create a sense of depth and open horizon without overwhelming the room. Printed to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an expressive, painterly landscape directly into your interior.

In the room

We see this landscape mural working especially well on a main feature wall in a living room, dining area, or bedroom. Because the composition carries a natural horizon line with airy washes above and richer, grounded marks below, giving it an uninterrupted wall allows the full breadth of the meadow to unfold. In a bedroom behind a low headboard, the soft sky tones sit comfortably at eye level while the warmer golden and terracotta tones anchor the lower wall. For dining rooms or open living spaces, placing this mural wallpaper where it receives ample daylight brings out the gentle tonal variation between the golden washes and leafy greens.

Styling it

To let the painterly character of the wallpaper stand out, we suggest pairing it with furniture in clean silhouettes and natural finishes. Warm oak, ash, or mid-toned timber pieces echo the golden ochre notes in the landscape, while upholstery in off-white, oat, or muted olive keeps the overall setting calm and cohesive. We also like introducing matte ceramic accents or simple terracotta pottery nearby to pick up on the warm, speckled brushwork in the foreground.

Colour combinations

Our design centers on a warm palette of golden yellow, amber, soft rust, olive green, and watery blue against clean white highlights. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, we recommend gentle warm whites, soft ecru, or muted linen tones that let the mural act as the focal point. If you prefer deeper contrast on adjacent walls or joinery, an earthy olive or a subtle clay brown draws directly from the lower field tones and frames the view beautifully.
