Wallpaper - Island Botanica II

Created by artist Yvette St. Amant, our Island Botanica II wallpaper brings together lush tropical foliage and a vivid coral pink backdrop. What we particularly like about this design is the contrast between the layered green tones of the broad leaves and the warm, painterly wash behind them. Soft blue-green highlights and visible brushstroke details give the botanical forms an expressive, artistic presence on the wall. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it is easy to hang and creates an immediate focal point in any interior.

In the room

Because of the bold scale and energetic colour contrast, we see this wall mural working especially well as an accent wall in a living room, bedroom, or dining space. Placing the design behind a sofa or a low bedframe allows the tall leaves to rise naturally into the upper half of the wall without competing with tall furniture. In an entryway or hallway, it delivers an instant sense of warmth and character, turning a simple transitional area into an inviting space. For open-plan rooms, giving this motif a dedicated, uninterrupted wall helps anchor a specific seating or dining zone.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we recommend balancing the rich pink background and botanical greenery with clean, grounded interior elements:

• Choose furniture in warm natural wood tones such as ash, birch, or teak, which complement the organic feel of the leaves while letting the mural take center stage.
• Introduce neutral upholstered seating in ivory, sand, or warm grey to prevent the overall room scheme from feeling overly saturated.
• Add accents made of woven rattan, terracotta, or matte black metal to echo the artistic structure of the foliage.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper itself is defined by a bold coral pink background paired with a variety of greens, ranging from soft sage and muted olive to deep forest green and cool seafoam highlights. To build a cohesive palette around the design, we suggest painting adjacent walls in a soft warm off-white, light linen, or pale bisque. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deep forest green for woodwork, trim, or an adjoining accent area creates an elegant and considered contrast.
