Wallpaper - Paris Scene Sketch I

Our Paris Scene Sketch I wallpaper by Jenaya Jackson captures the lively character of a Parisian street with spontaneous, expressive black ink linework on a crisp white background. Centred around a view of the Eiffel Tower framed by classic Parisian apartment facades, street-side cafe seating, and leafy trees, this monochrome design brings architectural charm and an illustrated aesthetic to your wall. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

The open perspective and vertical reach of the Eiffel Tower draw the eye upward, making this mural wallpaper especially effective on an uninterrupted wall in a living room, hallway, or dining space. Because the composition balances detailed architectural lines with plenty of open white space, it brings visual interest to a room without feeling heavy or crowded. In a home office or study, placing this wallpaper behind a desk or reading chair introduces an artistic focal point that feels both classic and relaxed.

Styling it

Because this design relies on bold monochrome line art, we suggest balancing the wall with furnishings that introduce warm, natural textures. Pairing the wallpaper with mid-tone or dark wood furniture, such as a vintage dining table or a dark walnut console, grounds the energetic black linework and reinforces its European cafe charm.

To maintain visual clarity, keep surrounding upholstered pieces in solid, understated fabrics rather than competing patterns. Matte black lighting fixtures, clean-lined metal frames, or simple ceramics echo the graphic nature of the sketch while keeping the overall room calm and cohesive.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a pure, high-contrast palette of charcoal black lines on an off-white ground. This monochrome foundation gives you great flexibility when selecting paint and decorative accents for the surrounding space.

Warm neutrals, soft chalky whites, and gentle taupes work beautifully on adjacent walls to keep the room light and inviting. For a more graphic and tailored look, deep charcoal or near-black accents on woodwork, skirting boards, or window trims mirror the linework in the motif. If you want to introduce accent colour, muted shades such as olive green, burnt ochre, or dusty rose pair effortlessly with the black-and-white illustration.
