Wallpaper - Dancing Petals

Our Dancing Petals wallpaper, created by Silvia Vassileva, brings an expressive, painterly floral abstraction to the wall. The composition combines soft, sweeping brushwork in delicate shades of blush pink, coral, creamy peach, and warm ivory, balanced by lively accents of soft turquoise, olive green, and touches of charcoal. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the fluid vertical movement that feels both airy and full of life without overwhelming a space. Like all Wallism wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of its expressive vertical brushstrokes and generous, open composition, we see this mural wallpaper working beautifully as an accent wall in a living room, bedroom, or dining area. In a bedroom, placing it behind the headboard allows the softer tones to anchor the space while the warm coral and floral highlights bring a gentle energy to the room. In a living room or open dining space, giving the design an uninterrupted wall lets the full sweep of the abstract composition unfold naturally. The varied palette also works well in spaces with plenty of daylight, where the delicate transitions between blush, cream, and muted greens show their subtle depth.

Styling it

When styling around Dancing Petals, we recommend keeping the surrounding furniture relatively quiet to let the painterly brushstrokes take center stage. Clean-lined furniture in warm natural wood or light painted finishes complements the soft warmth of the background tones without competing for visual attention. For textiles, simple neutral fabrics in ivory, oatmeal, or muted blush help tie the room together smoothly, while a subtle accent pillow or ceramic piece echoing the soft turquoise or coral in the wallpaper creates a cohesive, considered feel throughout the interior.

Colour combinations

The design itself features a harmonious blend of warm blush pink, vibrant coral, cream, and peach, grounded with touches of olive, seafoam turquoise, and dark charcoal. When selecting surrounding paint colors for adjacent walls or woodwork, soft warm whites, pale cream, or light sandy neutrals provide a seamless transition that enhances the wallpaper's light background. If you prefer a richer or more layered scheme, pulling a muted olive or a soft, dusty terracotta for woodwork, doors, or upholstery creates a sophisticated contrast that echoes the deeper notes within the artwork.
