Wallpaper - Turquoise Electron II

Created in collaboration with artist June Erica Vess, our Turquoise Electron II wallpaper brings expressive abstract energy to an interior wall. The composition layers gestural brushstrokes in deep indigo, vivid turquoise, and olive green across a soft, painterly off-white background, accented with bright chartreuse marks, dynamic loops, and organic paint drips. The balanced interplay between dark saturation and open, light space gives the artwork an artistic, modern presence. Like all our wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper texture.

In the room

Because of its expressive scale and sweeping movement, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an uninterrupted feature wall where the central forms can unfold without heavy visual disruption. In an open-plan living room or dining area, placing the design along a main focal wall anchors the entire seating or dining zone, letting the bold strokes draw the eye across the space.

The lighter background helps keep the overall composition feeling airy, making it equally suited to a contemporary bedroom behind a low headboard or a creative home office. If the room receives ample daylight, the subtle tonal shifts between the turquoise, teal, and olive brushwork become even more noticeable, while softer evening lighting brings forward the richer indigo tones.

Styling it

When decorating around such a graphic, painterly motif, we suggest keeping larger surrounding furniture relatively quiet in form and tone. Low-profile seating in neutral upholstery lets the movement of the artwork remain the focal point without visual competition.

To complement the rich hues in the mural, pair the wallpaper with warm wood surfaces such as walnut or natural oak. Matte black accents, clean-lined lighting, and smooth ceramic accessories provide a grounded, modern counterpoint to the fluid, energetic brushstrokes on the wall.

Colour combinations

Our design is built around a distinct palette of deep indigo blue, bright turquoise, mossy olive green, and sharp lemon-chartreuse, set over warm cream and light grey undertones.

When choosing paint colours for adjoining walls or woodwork, pulling a soft off-white or warm bone shade directly from the wallpaper background creates a cohesive, natural transition. For a bolder, more enveloping atmosphere, matching adjacent doors, trim, or built-in shelving to the deeper indigo or muted olive can frame the artwork in a dramatic, intentional way.
