Wallpaper - Come Home

Our Come Home wallpaper, created by Nathan Larson, captures the dramatic presence of a towering cumulus cloud rising against a deep, moody sky. What we particularly appreciate about this mural wallpaper is the visual tension between the heavy, shadow-cast base of the cloud and its bright, billowing white peaks, framed by soft, blurred cloud movement around the edges. The palette blends deep slate blues, stormy greys, and crisp whites into a powerful atmospheric scene. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it brings an expressive focal point to any interior.

In the room

Because of its strong central composition and dynamic scale, we see this wall mural working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, behind a low-profile sofa, or grounding a bedroom wall behind the headboard. In a larger space with wide, uninterrupted wall area, the cloud formation has room to breathe and reveal the depth of its dark shadows and soft highlights. The scale of the motif also brings great visual depth to a dedicated home office or a dining area, where giving the design an uncrowded wall lets the atmospheric sky become the main visual anchor of the room.

Styling it

When styling around such an expressive sky motif, we prefer keeping surrounding furniture low and sculptural to avoid interrupting the central cloud formation.

Pieces with clean lines and darker wood finishes, such as smoked oak or stained ash, echo the deeper slate tones in the artwork without competing with its movement. Upholstery in matte, textured fabrics like woven wool or heavy charcoal canvas adds quiet balance to the sweeping skies. To maintain the moody atmosphere, we would introduce subtle brushed bronze or blackened steel accents in floor lamps and side tables, which pick up on the shadowy depths of the cloud base while keeping the overall room calm and grounded.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a spectrum of storm-cloud colours, ranging from deep slate and charcoal to soft grey and bright, sunlit white.

To create a cohesive interior, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with deep petrol or dark charcoal paint on adjacent walls or trim for an enveloping, dramatic look. If you prefer a lighter, more open contrast, cool off-white or pale pebble grey on surrounding walls and ceiling highlights the brightest parts of the cloud formation while letting the mural wallpapers carry the primary visual weight of the space.
