Wallpaper - La Woof Wallpaper

Our La Woof wallpaper, created by Emily Adams, brings a whimsical, painterly character to the wall with its charming illustrated vignette. At the center sits a black Scottish Terrier perched proudly on an ornate, soft pink tufted armchair, set against an intricate floral wallpaper backdrop in teal and pale green. Flanked by two framed silhouette portraits in rustic white frames and anchored by a dark floor bearing the hand-lettered text "La woof", the composition works like a narrative wall mural. Produced made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers a distinctive visual statement that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of its centered pictorial composition, we see this design working best as a dedicated focal point on an accent wall. In an entryway, living room, dressing room, or guest bedroom, placing it where the chair and dog sit uninterrupted creates an immediate sense of personality. We recommend giving it a clean, relatively open wall section so the lower painted floorline and the full height of the illustrated chair remain visible rather than being obscured by tall storage units.

Styling it

To let the illustrated charm of the design take the lead, we would keep the surrounding furniture quiet and tailored. Low-profile seating or painted side tables in off-white, antique cream, or soft black help echo the graphic elements of the artwork without competing with its central composition. Natural flooring or a simple textured rug in neutral tones allows the lower dark band and lettering of the mural to ground the space naturally.

Colour combinations

The motif combines deep charcoal black, soft vintage pink, and muted off-white with a backdrop of soft teal, sage green, and delicate pale floral accents. When selecting paint shades for adjacent walls or trim, warm whites and soft cream tones complement the vintage chair frame and wall molding depicted in the artwork. If you prefer a richer, more cohesive look, a muted teal or soft dusty pink drawn directly from the wallpaper creates a beautifully unified interior palette.
