Wallpaper - Grounded Flowers

Our Grounded Flowers wallpaper, designed by Nikita Jariwala, captures an open field of white wildflowers resting against rolling green hills and a soft, swept pink sky. Painted-style brushwork gives the landscape an expressive character, with individual white petals and warm terracotta floral centres anchoring the foreground while the meadow fades gently into the background. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, this design brings a serene, pastoral feeling to interior walls without overwhelming the room.

In the room

We see this landscape mural working especially well on an uninterrupted feature wall in a bedroom or living room, where the full sweep from floral meadow to open sky has space to unfold. Placing the design behind a low bedhead or along a dining room wall allows the detail in the foreground flowers to remain visible while the softer sky tones sit at eye level. In smaller spaces like a home study or hallway, the gentle progression from deep green to muted blush adds visual depth, giving the space an airy, layered quality.

Styling it

Because the lower half of the wallpaper carries rich green tones and dense floral details, we suggest balancing it with understated furniture and simple silhouettes.

Low-profile seating or bed frames in pale oak or painted off-white allow the painted field to take centre stage. For surrounding soft furnishings, choosing unpatterned cushions and simple curtains in washed cotton or light wool helps keep the room grounded. Matte ceramic accents and touches of muted terracotta echo the flower centres, tying the interior together naturally.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper brings together forest and olive greens in the foliage, crisp white and warm terracotta in the meadow flowers, and a dusky rose-beige across the sky.

When choosing paint colours for adjacent walls, trim, or cabinetry, we recommend pulling from the paler tones in the sky, such as warm plaster pinks, soft parchment, or gentle chalky whites. For a richer, more cocooning interior, matching adjacent woodwork or baseboards to the deep olive green creates a cohesive connection with the meadow floor.
