Wallpaper - Modern Petals III

Our floral wallpaper Modern Petals III by Cheryl Warrick brings together an expressive, painterly garden of stylised blooms in a vibrant and joyful arrangement. We love how the playful floral forms, ranging from soft pink swirling roses and radiating daisy shapes to golden ochre blossoms and rich crimson petals, stand out against deep midnight blue and vivid cobalt patches. The rich layering of lively green foliage and textured brushwork gives the pattern a warm, artistic rhythm across the wall. Made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings personality and graphic energy to any living space.

In the room

Because the floral composition is dense and full of lively color, we see this working exceptionally well as an accent wall in a living room, bedroom, or creative home office. Placing it on an uninterrupted wall behind a sofa or bed headboard allows the variety of flower shapes and stylized line work to be enjoyed fully without feeling visual clutter. In a dining area, it creates an inviting, conversational backdrop that instantly warms the room.

For smaller spaces like a powder room, entryway, or hallway, wrapping the pattern around multiple walls can turn an otherwise functional transition zone into an immersive, jewel-box experience. The deep blue ground anchors the brighter yellows, pinks, and terracotta tones, preventing the colorful motif from feeling overwhelming even across smaller wall dimensions.

Styling it

When decorating around this design, we recommend letting the wallpaper serve as the main focal point while picking up on its organic shapes and joyful palette through simpler furnishings.

• Ground the room with clean-lined furniture in warm natural wood tones or painted finishes in soft cream or deep navy to balance the expressive pattern.
• Choose solid upholstery and understated textiles in muted tones of blush, mustard, or olive green to echo the floral colors without competing for visual attention.
• Keep wall decor and decorative accessories relatively minimal, opting for smooth ceramic vases, simple lighting fixtures, and unpatterned curtains that let the detailed floral brushwork stand out.

Colour combinations

The design itself features an energetic blend of magenta, blush pink, rich red, golden yellow, warm ochre, and earthy greens, set against a backdrop of cobalt and midnight blue.

To create a balanced interior, we suggest pairing adjacent painted walls with deep navy or soft warm off-whites. If you want a more colorful look, muted terracotta, dusty rose, or a soft sage green on surrounding trim, doors, or cabinetry will complement the floral tones while maintaining a grounded, cohesive feel throughout the space.
