Wallpaper - Island Botanica VII

Our Island Botanica VII wallpaper, created by Yvette St. Amant, brings together bold botanical forms and expressive brushwork. The composition features vivid pink torch ginger blossoms layered over lush tropical leaves in soft sage, jade, and deep teal, set against a warm apricot-coral background. Broad painted strokes give the large floral elements an immediate presence while keeping the overall rhythm organic and fluid. Printed to your exact dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical texture, this wall mural creates an energetic focal point across any accent wall.

In the room

We love seeing our mural wallpapers used to define a specific area, and this design is particularly well suited to an accent wall in a living room, dining area, or bedroom. Because the floral blooms and broad leaves have a generous visual scale, giving the mural an uninterrupted wall allows the painted details and botanical shapes to be seen in full. In an entryway or hallway, the warm coral backdrop and saturated pinks create an inviting first impression without overwhelming the space.

In rooms with plenty of daylight, the subtle tonal shifts between the cool leaf greens and the warm background become especially clear. For evening settings, warm ambient lighting deepens the rich pinks and brings a cozy, enveloping feel to the surrounding interior.

Styling it

When decorating around such a vibrant botanical pattern, we suggest balancing the artwork with grounded, tactile furnishings:

• Pair the wallpaper with warm wood furniture, such as teak, mid-century walnut, or natural rattan, which echoes the organic theme while letting the bold flowers stand out.
• Keep surrounding upholstery and larger rugs in muted neutral tones like warm sand, soft cream, or deep olive to prevent visual competition.
• Choose decorative accents in brushed brass or terracotta to subtly pick up the warm coral and peach tones of the background.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around a striking contrast between hot pink, coral peach, sage green, and dark teal. To create a cohesive look across the rest of the room, you can draw directly from these shades for adjacent surfaces.

For adjoining painted walls or woodwork, soft warm off-white or light sandy beige provides a clean, calming frame. If you prefer a richer, more immersive atmosphere, pulling the deep teal or muted forest green from the shaded leaves onto surrounding trim or cabinetry makes the vibrant pink blossoms pop even more.
