Wallpaper - Citrus Glow

Our Citrus Glow wallpaper, created by artist Kate Jarvik Birch, brings together rich orange citrus slices resting against a graphic blue and white striped backdrop. The composition has an expressive, gouache-style painted appearance, pairing luminous citrus pulp in vibrant shades of cadmium orange, coral, and warm amber with the cool, textured brushwork of deep cobalt and marine blue stripes. The bold contrast between warm fruit tones and fresh blue cloth gives the artwork an immediate, sunlit energy. Like all our wall murals, Citrus Glow is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We love how this design commands attention as a focal feature wall in spaces designed for gathering. In a dining area, kitchen, or breakfast nook, the large-scale painterly motif creates a vibrant backdrop that feels fresh and inviting. Because the citrus slices form a bold, graphic focal point, we recommend giving this wallpaper a prominent wall where the central forms remain largely unobstructed by tall furniture. In an open-plan kitchen and dining space, it anchors the eating zone beautifully, creating a distinct visual destination.

Styling it

The rich interplay between warm orange and cool blue offers plenty of creative directions for the surrounding room. To keep the focus on the artwork, we suggest balancing the wall with simple, clean-lined dining furniture in light natural wood or crisp painted finishes. White ceramic tableware, clear glassware, and simple linen napkins complement the casual, sun-drenched feel of the motif without competing with its painterly detail.

Colour combinations

The design itself features vivid shades of orange, coral, warm yellow, deep cobalt blue, soft navy, and off-white. For adjacent walls and trim, a soft warm white or pale off-white keeps the room bright and allows the intense blues and oranges of our mural wallpapers to stand out cleanly. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling a deep navy or marine blue from the striped background onto surrounding woodwork or lower cabinetry creates a striking, cohesive contrast.
