Wallpaper - Summer Bloom II

Our Summer Bloom II wallpaper mural brings a painterly single peony into close focus, created by artist Albena Hristova. What we particularly like about this design is the expressive brushwork, where rich magenta, deep berry, and soft rose tones build a dramatic, sculptural flower head against a warm apricot and creamy neutral background. The large-scale composition gives the bloom an immediate visual presence while the painterly brush marks keep the texture soft and layered. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, and designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because the motif centers on a single magnified bloom, we see this working best on an accent wall where the full petal structure can be seen without heavy obstruction. In a bedroom, placing this wallpaper behind the bed creates a warm, floral backdrop that immediately sets the tone for the space. In a living room or open dining area, giving it a prominent, uninterrupted wall allows the generous scale of the flower to anchor the entire room.

The painterly, warm backdrop responds beautifully to different lighting throughout the day. In soft morning light, the delicate pink and peach undertones feel gentle and airy, while warmer evening lighting deepens the rich berry and burgundy shades at the center of the blossom.

Styling it

To let the expressive scale of the floral artwork take center stage, we suggest pairing it with furniture in simple silhouettes and restrained finishes. Low-profile pieces, such as a low upholstered headboard or a streamlined sofa, prevent visual clutter against the petals.

For surrounding textures, matte painted finishes or warm natural wood tones harmonize naturally with the earthy apricot backdrop. Choosing solid, unpatterned textiles for curtains or rugs helps maintain visual calm around the detailed brushwork of the mural.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper combines intense magenta, deep wine, rose pink, and subtle green stems with a washed background of warm peach, apricot, and cream.

When choosing colors for adjacent walls or trim, a warm off-white or muted sand provides a calm, cohesive transition that echoes the lighter areas of the canvas. For a more enveloping, moody look, you could pull the deep berry or dusty plum tones into surrounding woodwork or accent textiles, creating a grounded and deliberate color scheme.
