Wallpaper - Bloom and Form II

Cheryl Warrick's Bloom and Form II wallpaper pairs a graphic, patterned vase with an exuberant bouquet set against a deep black ground. The floral arrangement combines stylized blooms in shades of pale blush, warm pink, vivid magenta, ochre yellow, burnt orange, and deep red, anchored by muted green foliage and a rich blue base. What we particularly like about this design is the contrast between the organic, chalky visual texture of the petals and the precise geometric pattern running across the teal-and-white vase. Made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it makes an expressive focal point that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of its strong central composition and bold contrast, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an accent wall where the vase and floral bouquet can take center stage. In a living room, placing it behind a low sofa or credenza allows the full height of the arrangement to show without breaking up the striking silhouettes. It also feels right at home in a dining room, framing a table setting with artistic warmth, or in a wide entryway where the vivid botanical forms can greet guests directly.

Styling it

To let the expressive floral motifs lead the space, we would balance the surrounding room with clean-lined furniture and quieter textures. Low-profile seating in neutral upholstery keeps visual attention on the artwork, while warm wood pieces, such as walnut or mid-toned oak, pick up on the earthy ochre and terracotta accents in the petals. Simple ceramics or matte black metal accents will echo the graphic outlines of the vase and background without competing with the mural wallpapers.

Colour combinations

The design is built on a high-contrast palette of deep black, bold pinks, pale blush, terracotta, rich blue, and teal. To complement these shades, we suggest keeping adjacent walls in soft, off-white or light muted greiges to let the dark background stand out crisply. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pairing this wallpaper with a deep teal, navy, or warm charcoal on surrounding painted trim or cabinetry creates a cohesive and dramatic setting.
