Wallpaper - Press For Champagne II

Created by Mercedes Lopez Charro, our Press For Champagne II wallpaper brings a playful, decorative touch to walls with its illustrated vintage call button enclosed in an ornate gilded rococo frame. Set against a backdrop of soft, hand-painted vertical stripes in warm neutral taupe and off-white, the central motif balances classical elegance with a lighthearted mood. The watercolour-like wash and soft tonal transitions give the entire design an artistic, painted feel. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We love how this design naturally creates a focal point in areas dedicated to hosting and entertaining. It works particularly well on an accent wall behind a home bar, dining area, or in a dressing room where its whimsical charm can stand out. In a hallway or entryway, placing the design on a narrow wall or alcove offers guests an immediate and memorable welcome. Because the central frame has strong visual character, we suggest giving it a wall with enough open space so the complete motif remains unobstructed by tall furniture.

Styling it

To complement the illustrated golden frame, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with warm metallic details such as antique brass hardware, polished brass lighting, or a classic bar cart. Fluted glassware, marble accents, and mirrors with clean lines help balance the traditional detailing of the baroque border without competing for attention. Keeping surrounding furniture relatively simple in tone, such as off-white painted wood or soft neutral upholstery, allows the artwork to remain the clear hero of the room.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on warm antique gold, ochre, soft taupe, and creamy off-white, grounded by delicate charcoal lettering. Around it, we recommend working with warm white or soft plaster tones on adjacent walls and trim to keep the atmosphere light and cohesive. If you prefer a richer contrast, deep charcoal or muted olive accents in surrounding decor pick up on the darker shading in the illustrated frame while letting the neutral background stripes breathe.
