Wallpaper - Cheeky Cheetah II

Created by Yvette St. Amant, our Cheeky Cheetah II wallpaper brings together expressive painted brushwork, rich jewel tones, and a playful portrait composition. The motif centers on a spotted big cat lounging composedly across a tufted magenta sofa with ornate golden framing. Swirling rose patterns flank the sides in dusty pink, while deep teal tones and stylized pink blossoms fill the background window. What we particularly like is the confident balance between the feline's calm gaze, bold animal print, and rich, layered palette. Our mural wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because of its strong central subject and theatrical presence, we see this design working exceptionally well as a focal point on an accent wall. In a living room, placing it directly behind a low-profile sofa or on an open, uninterrupted wall allows the full character of the sofa and cat to anchor the space. It also makes a wonderfully playful addition to an eclectic bedroom, a dressing room, or a creative home office where you want a design with personality.

For smaller rooms or entryways, the rich pinks and teal background create an immersive, boutique feel that instantly establishes character. We would recommend keeping this wall relatively clear of tall furniture so the painted framing and animal portrait remain fully visible.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we suggest leaning into its playful maximalism while keeping surrounding furniture shapes relatively simple. A low velvet bench, sleek modern seating, or painted furniture in deep jewel tones like plum, forest green, or midnight navy will complement the artwork without competing with its details.

Warm metallic accents, such as brushed brass lamps, gilded mirrors, or gold hardware, pair naturally with the ornate carved detailing painted into the sofa frame. For surrounding textiles, consider smooth velvets, crisp cottons, or understated rugs in solid neutral tones to let the wallpaper carry the pattern in the room.

Colour combinations

The motif features an expressive palette centered on bold magenta, dusty rose, and deep teal, accented by golden ochre, sandy beige, and crisp black spots.

To create a balanced look across adjacent surfaces, we suggest pairing this design with:

• Deep teal or dark petrol paint on adjoining walls or interior doors to echo the moody floral background.
• Soft dusky pink, muted mauve, or warm plaster tones for a softer, enveloping look in a bedroom or dressing area.
• Warm off-whites or soft sand neutrals on trim and ceilings to keep the space bright and let the magenta sofa pop.
