Wallpaper - Circle Swatches

Designed by Krystal Adams, our Circle Swatches wallpaper arranges rows of circular watercolor swatches into a clean, rhythmic grid across a soft off-white backdrop. Each circular motif features its own distinct wash and subtle visual texture, bringing together muted blush, coral, dusty rose, slate blue, warm beige, and charcoal grey. What we particularly appreciate about this design is how the structured geometric grid balances the fluid, painted character of each individual dot. Made to measure and completely PVC-free, this design brings an artful, orderly rhythm to any interior.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an accent wall in a creative home office, a calm bedroom, or a welcoming hallway. Because the pattern is composed of evenly spaced, medium-scale circular swatches, it maintains its graphic clarity whether viewed from across the room or up close. In a bedroom, placing this wallpaper behind a low bedhead lets the rhythmic dots create an engaging focal point without overpowering the rest of the space. In a compact study or reading corner, the balanced grid adds visual structure and color variety to smaller wall sections without making the room feel enclosed.

Styling it

To let the varied watercolor tones take center stage, we would pair this design with simple furniture lines and quiet, solid textures. Streamlined furniture in light birch, ash, or painted white surfaces complements the light background and keeps the overall space feeling open and balanced.

When introducing textiles, choosing smooth, solid linens or flat-weave cottons in one of the softer tones from the dots helps ground the room without competing with the geometric repeat. Simple matte ceramic accents or minimal black metal light fittings can provide a grounded counterpoint to the soft, washed circles.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design balances warm tones like blush pink, coral, terracotta-tinged beige, and soft peach with cooler notes of slate blue, denim, charcoal, and warm stone grey.

When choosing paint colors for adjacent walls or woodwork, a gentle chalky white or pale biscuit makes a natural, seamless companion that lets the wall mural stand out. If you want a moodier, more defined contrast, pulling a deep slate blue or charcoal from the darker swatches for doors, skirting boards, or low cabinetry creates an intentional and sophisticated frame around the wallpaper.
