Wallpaper - Juno The Hunting Dog

Our Juno The Hunting Dog wallpaper mural captures a classic sporting portrait set against an open, atmospheric landscape. A white pointer with warm brown markings and fine speckles rests peacefully beside a tree trunk, rendered with the soft shading and painted character of traditional natural history illustration. Moody hills in muted greens roll across the background beneath an expressive, overcast sky tinted with dusk tones. Printed made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this mural wallpaper brings a timeless, heritage feel to a feature wall.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well in an entryway, living room, library, or home study where a portrait-style wall mural can serve as a focal point. Because the composition features a prominent central subject resting in the lower half of the scene, it benefits from a wall with lower furniture, such as a low sideboard, console table, or bench, allowing the dog's detailed profile and the rolling horizon to remain visible. In a study or dining area, the earthy landscape tones create an inviting, grounded backdrop that adds character without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

To complement the traditional sporting feel of the motif, we suggest pairing this design with warm, classic furnishings:

• Use warm wood tones such as walnut, antique oak, or cherry to echo the rich brown patches in the dog's coat and the dark tree trunk.
• Introduce upholstery in textured fabrics like tweed, velvet, or boucle in earthy greens, deep rust, or warm beige to reinforce the natural countryside palette.
• Incorporate aged metal accents, such as antique brass lamps or bronze hardware, to bring a quiet warmth that complements the vintage aesthetic.

Colour combinations

The design features a rich palette of deep chestnut brown, creamy off-white, and warm tan in the dog's coat, balanced by olive green, sage, and misty charcoal grey across the rolling landscape and sky. Surrounding the mural with paint colours like warm taupe, muted olive, or a soft, warm linen tone creates a seamless and harmonious transition from wall to wall. For a bolder, heritage-inspired scheme, pulling a deep forest green or rich umber onto adjacent woodwork or cabinetry adds depth and elegance.
