Wallpaper - Thorns of The Frontier II

Our Thorns of The Frontier II wallpaper, created in collaboration with Nikita Jariwala, brings an expressive botanical motif to the wall with broad, painterly brushstrokes. The design focuses on rounded cactus pads layered in vivid shades of emerald, moss, and olive green, crowned with soft white and warm blush-toned blossoms. Set against a gentle peachy-pink backdrop with subtle visible brushwork, the composition balances organic movement with an artistic, hand-painted look. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper texture, this mural wallpaper adds a vibrant yet warm focal point to any interior.

In the room

We love how the bold green tones and generous scale of the cactus pads anchor an accent wall, making this design especially striking in a living room behind a low sofa or framing a dining nook. Because the composition has an upward, organic flow, it works wonderfully on walls with standard or higher ceilings where the vertical form of the botanical illustration can be appreciated in full. In a bedroom or creative home office, the warm pink background creates a cozy, welcoming atmosphere while the painterly botanical character brings visual energy to the space without feeling overwhelming.

Styling it

When styling around this mural wallpaper, we suggest balancing the expressive artwork with quiet, understated furnishings. The rich contrast between lush greens and soft blush allows for simple, natural interior elements:

• Pair with light or warm-toned woods, such as ash or pale oak, to keep the overall room feeling open and grounded.
• Choose clean-lined furniture in neutral, creamy tones or muted greens that subtly echo the colors in the artwork without competing with the brushwork.
• Introduce woven textures and matte ceramic accents to complement the artisanal aesthetic of the painterly motif.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around a vibrant palette of deep emerald, forest green, chartreuse, and olive, softened by creamy white blossoms with hints of terracotta and a warm peach-pink background. To complement our wallpapers, consider surrounding walls or architectural trim in warm off-white, soft clay, or a pale plaster pink. For furniture and textiles, earthy terracotta, muted sage, or warm olive provide a natural continuation of the palette, while deep forest green accents can help draw out the darkest tones of the cactus leaves.
