Wallpaper - Sepia Guitar I

Our Sepia Guitar I wallpaper by Deborah Revell brings a striking photographic close-up of an electric guitar headstock and fretboard into the room. Centred against an open, warm off-white backdrop, the dark wood, chrome tuning pegs, and steel strings create a bold graphic silhouette with clean vertical lines. The gentle sepia toning softens the contrast between the deep charcoal and pale background, giving the motif a refined, vintage studio character. As with all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

We love how this design commands attention as a vertical focal point. In a music room, home office, or living room, it works exceptionally well on an accent wall where the guitar neck can rise through the space without interruption. Because the artwork features a clean, uncluttered background around the central subject, it creates a spacious, gallery-like feel even in smaller rooms or compact studios. Placing it behind a desk, a low credenza, or a listening station allows the finely detailed chrome hardware and fretwork to remain completely in view.

Styling it

The sharp contrast and clean studio photography naturally suit modern, industrial, or mid-century modern interiors. We suggest pairing this mural wallpaper with simple, clean-lined furniture in black metal or dark walnut to pick up on the deep tones of the guitar headstock and fretboard. Keep surrounding decor relatively minimal so the graphic presence of the instrument remains the focal point of the space.

Colour combinations

The design centres around a palette of deep charcoal, sepia, and warm cream, accented by soft metallic chrome. To build a balanced scheme around this wall mural, we suggest echoing the warm off-white background on adjoining walls with soft linen white, muted ivory, or light pebble grey. For a moodier and more intimate setting, deep charcoal, graphite, or matte black accents create a cohesive, contemporary dialogue with the headstock.
