Wallpaper - Forest Mood

Our Forest Mood wallpaper, created by Farida Zaman, brings together sweeping painterly brushstrokes, layered earthy tones, and fine linear accents that give the wall an expressive, abstract atmosphere. The composition builds depth through overlapping planes of moss, olive, and muted sage greens, offset by paler undertones and spontaneous white gestural lines that cut across the broad painterly marks. Printed made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design offers a calm yet dynamic focal point for contemporary interiors.

In the room

Because of the broad, sweeping scale of the brushwork, we see this mural wallpaper working particularly well on a main feature wall where the composition has room to unfold across its full width. In a living room behind a low-profile sofa, or in a bedroom anchored behind a headboard, the organic layering of green tones creates an enveloping background without overwhelming the surrounding space. In rooms with generous daylight, the subtle tonal shifts between deep moss and lighter washed olive become especially rich, while softer lamplight in the evening brings out the moodier, grounded character of the deeper earthy pigments.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we recommend keeping the major furniture silhouettes relatively clean and architectural so they do not compete with the gestural movement of the artwork. Warm, natural wood tones such as walnut, teak, or white oak pair effortlessly with the earthy green palette, grounding the room in a relaxed, modern aesthetic. For soft furnishings, choose quiet woven textiles in natural off-white, taupe, or unbleached linen to balance the darker patches of olive green while picking up on the lighter gestural lines in the design.

Colour combinations

The palette of our Forest Mood design centres on rich moss green, earthy olive, and soft muted sage, complemented by undertones of warm sand and fine white highlights. To create a cohesive look across the wider room, we suggest pairing adjacent painted walls with warm off-whites, soft bone, or pale grey-green shades that allow the wallpaper to remain the clear visual anchor. For accents and upholstery, deeper forest greens, charcoal, or warm tan leather work exceptionally well to reinforce the natural, grounded mood of the room.
