Wallpaper - Food Phrases V

Designed by Becky Thorns, our Food Phrases V wallpaper features the phrase "Let's dig in" written in fluid, hand-brushed lettering. The deep navy blue script sits vertically against a soft, warm cream background, giving the graphic typography a relaxed and inviting character. With its clean contrast and bold, expressive brushstrokes, the motif brings an informal culinary spirit to the wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well as an accent wall in a dining room, kitchen, or open breakfast nook. Because the lettering is stacked vertically with generous negative space around it, it works best on an uninterrupted wall area where the entire phrase can be read without being cut off by tall cabinetry or shelving. In an open-plan kitchen and dining space, positioning the mural wallpaper directly behind a dining table or alongside a banquette seating area creates a welcoming focal point that naturally anchors the gathering space.

Styling it

The confident blue lettering and warm cream background pair effortlessly with simple, natural interior elements. We would combine this wallpaper mural with warm timber furniture, such as an oak or pine dining table, which echoes the warmth in the backdrop. To keep the focus on the graphic phrase, we suggest keeping surrounding decor clean and understated, perhaps incorporating simple ceramic tableware, woven placemats, or subtle matte black light fixtures that connect with the dark lettering.

Colour combinations

The palette centers on deep navy blue and a soft, muted cream. When decorating around this wallpaper, warm off-whites, neutral linen shades, and light stone tones make natural choices for adjacent walls and woodwork. If you want to introduce more depth, dark indigo or navy accents in seat cushions or dining chairs will tie directly back to the brushwork, while muted olive green or soft terracotta accents offer a gentle, earthy contrast.
