Wallpaper - Land Protection I

Created by Pamela Munger, our Land Protection I wallpaper brings a bold abstract composition to the wall with the visual character of layered acrylic on canvas. The design balances a broad field of textured off-white against vertical bands of muted slate blue, deep charcoal, earthy brown, and small accents of rust red. We particularly like how the rough, painterly edges and visible brush textures give the motif an expressive studio feel without overwhelming the space. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper.

In the room

Because of its broad vertical color blocking and artistic scale, we see this design working especially well as an accent wall in a living room, dining area, or study. Placing it on a wide, uninterrupted wall behind a low sofa or a wooden dining table allows the full interplay between the textured white field and the stacked dark blocks to unfold naturally. In a home office or creative workspace, the structured yet expressive geometry provides a grounding backdrop that adds visual interest without creating visual noise.

Styling it

To complement the painterly structure of our mural wallpapers, we recommend pairing this design with furniture that has clean, architectural silhouettes and honest materials.

• Choose low-profile furniture in natural materials such as mid-toned oak, walnut, or matte black metal to echo the darker blocks in the artwork.
• Introduce textured upholstery and woven textiles in neutral linen, charcoal, or warm grey to harmonize with the canvas-like visual texture.
• Keep wall decor on adjacent surfaces minimal, letting the wallpaper mural act as the central artistic focus of the room.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a grounding palette of textured off-white, muted slate blue, rich earthy brown, and charcoal black, accented with quiet touches of rust. When selecting paint for adjoining walls and woodwork, warm off-white or light stone greys create a soft, continuous transition from the lighter side of the mural. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, drawing out the slate blue or deep charcoal for doors, trim, or an adjacent accent wall creates a striking architectural frame around the design.
