Wallpaper - Pooh Bear I

Our Pooh Bear I wallpaper brings a classic storybook feeling to the wall, pairing a vintage black line illustration of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh with the quote: "When you see someone putting on his big boots, you can be pretty sure that an adventure is going to happen." Set on a gentle cream central panel and framed by a soft blue and white gingham border, the composition has the structured balance of an archival print. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made to measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

Because of the centered storybook framing and text, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an accent wall where the motif can be viewed in full. In a nursery, children's room, or playroom, it creates a charming focal point above a low cot, daybed, or reading bench.

The blue check border gives the design structure, meaning it holds its own nicely without needing full-room wallpapering. If you are placing it in a shared bedroom or a family reading corner, give it an unobstructed section of wall so the classic quote and character illustration remain easy to read and enjoy.

Styling it

To complement the nostalgic storybook feel, we would pair this wallpaper with simple, painted white furniture or warm natural pine and light wood pieces. Keeping larger furniture quiet allows the character illustration and check pattern to stand out naturally.

Textiles in soft denim blue, muted chambray, or unbleached woven fabrics echo the surrounding gingham without competing with the central artwork. Adding simple woven storage baskets and open book ledges will complete a warm, welcoming children's space.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a soft blue and off-white gingham, an ivory cream background, and crisp black sketch lines.

For adjacent walls and woodwork, warm whites and soft cream paint shades tie into the central parchment tone. If you prefer more color in the room, soft sky blues, gentle sage greens, or pale butter yellows create a classic nursery palette that feels cohesive and timeless alongside the blue check.
