Wallpaper - Bloom and Form IV

Our Bloom and Form IV wallpaper, created in collaboration with Cheryl Warrick, brings together expressive floral forms and crisp geometric patterning in a striking still-life composition. A lively bouquet of stylised flowers in deep crimson, blush pink, warm ochre, and soft peach rises from a patterned vase detailed with a fine lattice motif. Set against an intense black backdrop with a bold cobalt blue base plane, the artwork balances graphic contrast with painterly visual textures. Each of our wallpapers is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of the strong scale and deep background contrast, we see this design working particularly well on an uninterrupted feature wall where the full floral arrangement can take centre stage. In a dining room or living room, positioning the wallpaper behind a low credenza or sofa allows the vibrant blooms to command the upper visual field without competing with bulky furniture. The bold composition also suits an entryway or guest bedroom, creating a welcoming, artistic focal point that immediately anchors the space. In rooms with generous daylight, the painted textures and subtle tonal shifts within the petals become especially captivating.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we recommend keeping surrounding elements relatively grounded to let the wall mural lead the room. Clean-lined mid-century or contemporary furniture in warm wood tones, such as walnut or teak, complements the earthy ochre and terracotta undertones of the bouquet while softening the contrast of the black background. Simple ceramic decor, matte black accents, and unpatterned upholstery in textured weaves help maintain visual balance without distracting from the intricate vase and flower forms.

Colour combinations

The design itself features a rich palette of deep crimson, dusty rose, golden ochre, apricot, olive green, and vivid cobalt, all anchored by solid black. For surrounding walls and woodwork, we like pairing this wallpaper with muted off-whites, warm taupe, or soft sandy neutrals that allow the mural wallpaper to pop. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping atmosphere, matching adjacent walls or trim to the deep navy, charcoal, or dark olive found within the motif creates a seamless, sophisticated interior scheme.
