Wallpaper - Spring in Paris I

Our Spring in Paris I wallpaper by Mackenzie Nelson presents a charming scene of two graceful white swans facing one another amidst a playful arrangement of botanicals. Set against a soft cream backdrop with a delicate dotted border, the composition features gentle floral sprigs, leafy branches in earthy greens, and soft pink and muted blue blossoms. The painted-looking character and balanced, illustrative layout give this mural wallpaper a sweet, storybook quality that feels calm yet full of character. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure and completely PVC-free.

In the room

We love how this design brings a serene, storybook feel to intimate spaces. In a nursery, child’s bedroom, or playroom, it creates a whimsical focal point that can anchor the entire space without feeling overwhelming. The balanced composition makes it particularly effective on an accent wall behind a crib, a low toddler bed, or a reading nook. Because the central swans and surrounding botanicals form a contained, harmonious scene, we recommend installing it on a relatively open wall where the full illustration can be enjoyed without too much tall furniture obscuring the centre.

Styling it

To complement the gentle nature of this design, we suggest keeping surrounding furnishings understated and soft in form.

• Choose warm, natural wood furniture or painted white pieces with soft curves to echo the rounded silhouettes of the swans.
• Bring in textiles in pale rose, dusty blue, or moss green to subtly pull the botanical accents into the rest of the room.
• Keep wall decor on neighbouring walls minimal, allowing the illustration to remain the clear visual highlight of the space.

Colour combinations

The design is built around crisp white, muted olive and sage greens, soft blush pinks, and gentle dusty blue accents on a warm cream ground. Around the room, adjacent walls painted in warm off-white or light linen tones keep the space light and airy. For a slightly cosier or more grounded palette, pulling out the soft sage green or gentle rose from the floral sprigs for painted trims, wainscoting, or bedding creates a beautifully cohesive atmosphere.
