Wallpaper - Desert Ridge

Our Desert Ridge wallpaper, created by artist Silvia Vassileva, captures an expressive desert mountain landscape painted in layered strokes of terracotta, ochre, dusky rose, deep plum, and muted olive. The panoramic composition balances sweeping geological ridges with a glowing sunset sky, giving the scenic view a warm, impressionistic character. As with all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure that makes it straightforward to hang.

In the room

We love how this landscape mural brings warmth and visual depth to larger spaces. In a living room or dining area, placing it across a wide, uninterrupted wall allows the expansive horizon and layered terrain to unfold naturally across the space. Because the artwork carries rich movement and shifting tones from floor to ceiling, it works especially well on a feature wall behind a low sofa or a dining table where the upper ridgeline and sky remain fully visible. In a bedroom, installing it behind the headboard creates an inviting, scenic focal point that sets a grounded, serene atmosphere.

Styling it

When styling around Desert Ridge, we recommend choosing low-profile furniture that keeps the horizon open and lets the artwork anchor the room. Simple furniture silhouettes in warm, natural wood finishes harmonise effortlessly with the golden ochre and earthy terracotta tones in the painting. To maintain visual balance, opt for unpatterned upholstery in cream, sand, or warm grey, allowing the rich painterly brushstrokes of the wallpaper to remain the central focus.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built from an earthy desert palette, featuring terracotta, sunlit ochre, burnt umber, dusty rose, sage green, and deep aubergine. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, we suggest warm off-whites, soft sand, or pale plaster tones that echo the lighter passages in the sky. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deeper clay, terracotta, or muted olive shades for adjacent walls, trim, or larger textiles creates a beautifully coordinated interior.
