Wallpaper - Boho Traveler VII

Our Boho Traveler VII wallpaper, created in collaboration with Yvette St. Amant, brings together bold desert botanicals with a warm, painted-looking character. Set against a rich terracotta background, the composition features stylised cacti in vivid green and teal tones alongside blooming florals in creamy white, vibrant magenta, and golden ochre. The expressive brushwork and dotted decorative details give the botanical forms an energetic, modern folk feel. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and produced on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because the botanical motifs are large, colourful, and graphic, this design makes an immediate visual statement. We especially like it as a feature wall in a living room, dining space, or bedroom where the warm terracotta background can wrap the space in an earthy, inviting feel. In a dining area or behind a living room sofa, the generous scale gives the lush cacti and blooming flowers plenty of room to breathe without feeling cramped. For smaller spaces like an entryway or powder room, using it across all walls creates a vibrant, immersive jewel-box effect.

Styling it

To balance the bold shapes and playful colour palette, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with relatively grounded, understated furnishings. Warm, natural timber such as oak, teak, or rattan complements the earthy terracotta backdrop and echoes the relaxed, bohemian aesthetic of the artwork. Clean-lined mid-century or contemporary furniture works particularly well, keeping the focus squarely on the vibrant wall mural without overwhelming the room. Simple ceramic accents in matte terracotta, off-white, or muted olive green help tie surrounding surfaces back to the artwork.

Colour combinations

The design centres on a warm terracotta backdrop balanced by deep teal, vivid leafy greens, bright magenta, soft cream, and touches of sunny ochre. For adjoining walls and woodwork, warm off-whites, sandy creams, or soft clay tones create a seamless, harmonious transition. If you want a more adventurous room palette, pulling out the deep teal or muted moss green for an accent chair, painted cabinetry, or upholstery creates a rich, tonal dialogue with the foliage in the motif.
