Wallpaper - Modern Petals II

Created by artist Cheryl Warrick, our Modern Petals II wallpaper brings a bold, artistic floral arrangement together on a deep, rich navy blue backdrop. The motif features an array of stylized blossoms in warm crimson, coral, soft blush pink, muted mustard yellow, and vibrant orange, accented by fresh green leaves and playful circular bud details. The painted visual character and distinctive graphical petals create a lively, expressive rhythm across the wall. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our mural wallpapers bring distinct artistic personality to any room.

In the room

With its rich, dense composition and warm floral palette, this design works wonderfully as a feature wall behind a bed or anchoring a main seating area in a living room. Because the floral shapes vary nicely in scale and detail, the pattern maintains interest across a wide, uninterrupted wall while remaining engaging in more compact settings like a home study or an entryway. In rooms with generous natural daylight, the contrasts between the deep midnight background and the layered pinks and ochre tones stand out clearly, while softer evening lighting brings a warm, intimate atmosphere to the surrounding space.

Styling it

When decorating around this wallpaper, we suggest letting the rich artwork take center stage while balancing it with understated furniture and clean silhouettes. Modern furnishings in warm, natural woods like oak or walnut pair naturally with the golden and terracotta undertones of the petals. Upholstery in textured neutral fabrics such as off-white or deep charcoal allows the lively floral motifs to remain the main visual focus without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

Our design is anchored by a deep navy blue background and features an expressive palette of crimson red, coral, blush pink, marigold yellow, warm orange, and olive green. For adjacent painted walls, soft neutral shades of warm off-white, pale linen, or a gentle cream provide a balanced contrast that lets the floral wall mural stand out. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deep navy tone or a muted terracotta for woodwork and accents creates a cohesive, grounded look.
