Wallpaper - Lush Valley

Designed by Kristy Rice, our Lush Valley wallpaper captures an open valley landscape with a soft, watercolor-like appearance. The composition balances luminous, painterly washes with delicate sketched outlines, leading the eye between rising canyon cliffs and sunlit meadows below. Warm tones of terracotta, peach, and golden ochre glow along the rock faces, meeting fresh sage greens, muted moss tones, and subtle touches of misty blue in the foreground. Because the upper area of the design remains airy and light, it brings a sense of open horizon and quiet expansiveness to any interior. Our custom made wall murals are produced to your exact dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We love how this landscape mural wallpaper opens up a space, making it a compelling choice for a living room, bedroom, or quiet study. The expansive, open composition works especially well on a wide, uninterrupted accent wall where the full sweep of the valley and mountains can unfold without interruption. In a bedroom, placing this design behind a low headboard allows the airy upper washes to rise naturally toward the ceiling, creating an open and serene focal point. Because the palette combines warm canyon shades with cool foliage greens, it transitions smoothly across different times of day, feeling bright and fresh in morning daylight and taking on an inviting warmth under softer evening lamps.

Styling it

When styling around our Lush Valley mural wallpapers, we recommend letting the expressive painterly scenery remain the visual centerpiece. Pairing the wallpaper with low-profile furniture in natural, warm wood finishes like ash, oak, or light walnut grounds the scene while echoing the earthiness of the painted rocks. To balance the soft landscape washes, introduce simple textiles such as unbleached linen or textured wool in neutral tones like cream, oatmeal, or muted sand. Keeping decorative accessories minimal and organic, such as unglazed ceramic pottery or matte stoneware, complements the artistic brushwork without cluttering the visual field.

Colour combinations

Our Lush Valley design is built upon a delicate interplay of warm canyon hues and earthy greens against an off-white, luminous background. Key shades within the wallpaper include terracotta, soft coral, amber ochre, sage, olive green, and a gentle touch of dusty slate blue. When selecting surrounding paint colors for adjacent walls or trim, warm off-whites, soft bone, or light greige keep the overall atmosphere cohesive and expansive. If you want to draw out the deeper landscape elements, consider accents in muted terracotta or warm olive for cushions, throws, or painted cabinetry.
