Wallpaper - Island Botanica V

Created by Yvette St. Amant, our Island Botanica V wallpaper brings a bold tropical presence to the wall with expressive painterly brushwork. Broad banana palm leaves in rich forest and sage greens layer behind sculptural tropical blooms, rendered in vivid coral, warm yellow, and magenta tones against a vibrant pink backdrop. The hand-painted look and dynamic, close-up composition give this botanical design an energetic and confident character. Like all our wallpapers, this mural is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the composition uses large-scale botanical elements with generous brush strokes, we love seeing this design on a main feature wall where the full forms have room to breathe. In a living room or dining area, placing it behind a sofa or dining table turns the wall into an immediate focal point without feeling cluttered. It also works wonderfully in an entryway or a bedroom accent wall, where the bright pink backdrop and rich green foliage introduce warmth and personality as soon as you enter the space.

Styling it

To let the expressive painterly character of the wallpaper stand out, we suggest pairing it with clean-lined furniture and grounded natural materials. Warm mid-tone woods or painted neutral pieces provide a balanced foundation, while textured upholstery in neutral linen or woven fabrics keeps the space feeling comfortable and grounded. Keeping surrounding decor relatively understated allows the interplay between the deep foliage and vibrant blooms to take centre stage.

Colour combinations

The design features a rich palette of deep emerald, muted olive, and sage greens alongside vivid pink, peach, coral red, and golden yellow. To complement these shades, we recommend soft off-whites, warm stone, or pale sand on adjacent walls and woodwork. If you want to lean into the botanical energy of the design, deep moss green accents or warm terracotta tones in your textiles and decorative objects will tie the room together beautifully.
