Wallpaper - Tree Duo

Tree Duo by Danhui Nai brings the spontaneous character of an artist's sketchbook to the wall, pairing two finely detailed ink-style tree studies against a warm, parchment-toned backdrop. One broad, leafy deciduous tree sits to the left, balanced on the right by a textured evergreen perched atop a sketched rocky knoll. The open composition leaves generous breathing space around the crosshatched line work, creating a quiet visual rhythm that works gracefully across larger surfaces. Made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers feature a subtle physical structure in the paper that complements the hand-drawn quality of the motif.

In the room

We see this mural wallpaper working particularly well on a primary wall in a living room, bedroom, or quiet study where the detailed line work can be appreciated up close. Because the motif is concentrated in the lower-to-middle area of the composition with open space above, it anchors a room without overwhelming high ceilings or dominating the upper visual field.

In a dining room or living space, positioning low-profile furniture such as a sideboard or sofa below the artwork allows the trees to emerge naturally as a focal point. The airy negative space surrounding the sketch also makes the design an appealing choice for bedrooms, where placing it behind a headboard creates an open, understated backdrop.

Styling it

The delicate sketch aesthetic pairs naturally with interiors that celebrate artisanal craft, vintage elements, or quiet minimalism. We suggest keeping surrounding furniture light to medium in visual weight, letting the fine hatchings of the drawing lead the eye.

Pieces made from warm woods, like antique oak or light walnut, echo the earthy warmth of the background paper. Linen textiles, muted wool throws, and matte ceramic accents will maintain a tactile, unpretentious atmosphere that honors the sketchbook feel. If introducing metal details, antique brass, blackened iron, or muted bronze work harmoniously with the dark drawing ink.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a focused palette of deep charcoal-to-black ink lines set over a warm, speckled beige background.

When choosing paint colors for adjacent walls or trim, consider soft off-whites, warm stone, or oatmeal tones that extend the background shade for a seamless, wrap-around atmosphere. For a touch more depth, subtle olive greens, washed sage, or deep charcoal accents can draw directly from the foliage tones and sketched lines, providing an intentional, grounding contrast across doors, baseboards, or cabinetry.
