Wallpaper - Blooms of April I

Our Blooms of April I wallpaper by Krystal Adams brings an open, painted floral composition to the wall with soft blossom clusters arching across a blush pink ground. We particularly like the delicate, painterly character of the branches, where textured brown stems carry pale blossoms touched with soft blue, sage green, and warm ochre accents. The generous negative space between the branches gives the motif a light, airy presence rather than an overwhelming floral pattern. Made-to-measure and PVC-free, this design features a subtle structure in the paper that complements its artistic, expressive style.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an accent wall in a bedroom or a quiet sitting room where the branching motif can spread horizontally without feeling crowded. Because the composition has an open layout with plenty of soft pink background, it brings color and pattern without closing in the space. In a bedroom, placing this mural wallpaper behind a low bed frame allows the upper blossoms to arch gracefully above head height. It also functions wonderfully in a nursery or guest room, where the gentle palette and painterly florals create an inviting, calm visual backdrop.

Styling it

To balance the soft pink backdrop and painterly strokes, we recommend pairing our wallpaper with simple furniture silhouettes that let the artwork take center stage:

• Natural, light wood furniture such as ash or pale birch grounds the delicate floral motif while keeping the room feeling airy.
• Soft, unpatterned textiles in off-white, oat, or muted dusty rose complement the background tone without competing with the blossom details.
• Matte black or brushed bronze hardware introduces a subtle touch of contrast that echoes the darker linework of the branches.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres around a soft blush pink background layered with earthy brown branches, pale floral whites, muted slate blues, soft greens, and gentle ochre touches. When planning your surrounding space, we suggest picking up on these delicate accents. Warm whites and creamy neutral paints work effortlessly on adjacent walls, keeping the overall scheme cohesive and bright. For cabinetry or larger accent pieces, a muted sage or a desaturated grey-blue creates an intentional connection with the painted petals.
