Wallpaper - Verdigris and Melon II

Our Verdigris and Melon II wallpaper brings together fluid washes of jade, verdigris, and soft sage alongside warm accents of melon and peach against a bright, airy backdrop. Created by June Erica Vess, this abstract composition layers painterly brushstrokes, delicate gestural scribbles, and translucent watercolor-like pools of pigment. The balance between energetic mark-making and luminous open space gives the design an expressive, breezy character that feels fresh and uplifting on a wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure according to your wall dimensions and is entirely PVC-free.

In the room

Because of its painterly movement and centered abstract composition, we see this design working beautifully on an uninterrupted feature wall in a living room, dining area, or bedroom. Placing the design behind a low sofa or a minimalist bed frame allows the full sweep of the vertical brushwork and delicate line details to remain visible. In rooms with generous daylight, the subtle transitions between seafoam, deep teal, and pale melon tones reveal their full depth and clarity. For a home office or creative studio, having this expressive artwork across a main accent wall brings visual vitality without overwhelming the space.

Styling it

We recommend letting the fluid artwork serve as the visual focal point while keeping surrounding elements grounded in understated shapes and natural textures.

• Pair with furniture in warm, pale wood tones or crisp painted white to mirror the airy backdrop of the wallpaper.
• Introduce tactile textiles such as unbleached linen or textured bouclé in neutral ivory and soft beige to balance the active brushstrokes.
• Echo the delicate melon and peach undertones through subtle ceramic decorative accents, terracotta vessels, or muted throw cushions.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around a palette of verdigris, emerald, seafoam green, and soft sage, punctuated by warm melon, peach, and soft off-white. When styling the surrounding room, pale warm neutrals like parchment, cream, and soft sand create a calm, seamless backdrop on adjacent walls. For a richer, more grounded look, incorporating furniture or accents in deep forest green or muted olive deepens the darker tones in the print. Alternatively, soft blush or terracotta accents will draw out the warm peach notes and create a playful, sophisticated color dialogue.
