Wallpaper - Vinyl Vibe I

Created by Omar Escalante, our Vinyl Vibe I wallpaper captures an intimate, relaxed moment through clean line art. The design features a figure sitting cross-legged on a rug with headphones on, surrounded by vinyl records, album sleeves, candles, and a turntable setup. Rendered in a striking cobalt blue against a crisp white background, the illustration relies on expressive contours and balanced negative space to create a graphic yet calm visual rhythm. Produced as made-to-measure wallpaper, our murals are PVC-free and printed on paper with a subtle physical structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because this mural wallpaper centers on a single illustrated scene with generous white space around it, we see it working especially well as an accent wall in a living room, bedroom, or dedicated creative study. The open composition gives the motif room to breathe, preventing the wall from feeling visually crowded. In a listening nook or around a low seating area, placing the mural on a main uninterrupted wall allows the full figure and record details to remain visible without competing against tall storage units.

Styling it

To let the graphic line work stand out, we would pair this design with low-profile furniture that keeps the lower half of the wall relatively open. A low media console, simple bench, or floor cushion naturally complements the seated subject matter. Clean-lined mid-century or contemporary furniture works particularly well alongside the illustration's relaxed aesthetic, while keeping surrounding decor uncluttered lets the bold blue linework remain the focal point.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper uses a two-tone palette of deep cobalt blue on a clean white ground. To build on this contrast, surrounding walls in soft off-white or light cool grey keep the room bright and modern. For furniture and accents, rich navy or muted denim blues can tie directly into the motif, while warm accents like natural leather, terracotta pottery, or muted mustard textiles offer a balanced, grounding contrast against the blue line art.
