Wallpaper - Volver II

Our Volver II wallpaper, created by artist June Erica Vess, brings together generous organic forms and painterly fluid curves. A large, soft blush-pink shape anchors the composition, framed by layered sweeps of olive green, sage, raspberry pink, lavender, and muted blue against a warm cream backdrop. What we particularly appreciate about this mural wallpaper is the visible wash and brushwork character across the color fields, giving the abstract motif an expressive yet gentle presence on the wall. Made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions, our wallpapers are printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because of its broad scale and sweeping shapes, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an uninterrupted wall in a living room, dining space, or bedroom. The expansive composition gives the eye space to travel along the curved bands of color without feeling crowded. On a wall behind a low-profile sofa or headboard, the upper pink field provides an open, airy visual anchor, while the richer greens and berry accents add interest closer to eye level. In rooms with generous natural daylight, the subtle tonal variations within the painted washes become especially distinct.

Styling it

To let the large abstract forms take center stage, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with furniture that features simple, clean silhouettes. Pieces with rounded edges or low profiles echo the gentle movement of the painted shapes without competing for attention.

When selecting surrounding finishes, warm natural wood and matte painted surfaces work beautifully alongside the palette. We would keep large upholstery neutral in off-white, oat, or soft stone tones, allowing smaller accents like ceramic vessels or throw cushions to pick up the deeper olive and berry shades.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around a balance of warm blush pink, creamy off-white, and earthy greens, accented by lilac, deep raspberry, and soft blue.

Around the wallpaper, we suggest carrying the warm cream or sand tones onto adjacent walls and architectural trim to maintain a cohesive, continuous atmosphere. If you prefer more contrast, grounding the room with deeper forest green or rich terracotta elements in furniture or accents draws out the darker painted strokes within the motif.
