Wallpaper - Spring Pink I

In this floral wallpaper design created with artist Pamela Munger, soft watercolour washes form an expressive still life of loose blooms in an earthenware bowl. What we particularly like is how the painterly bleeding of blush pinks, soft yellows, warm terracotta, and muted greens creates a gentle visual rhythm across an off-white textured paper backdrop. The composition has an open, painterly character that brings genuine artistic warmth to an interior. Printed made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, it is designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of the centered, still-life composition and generous scale of the floral forms, we see this working especially well on an uninterrupted feature wall where the full painted motif can be appreciated without heavy visual competition. It makes a charming focal point in a dining room behind a sideboard, in a welcoming bedroom behind a low headboard, or along a light-filled living room wall. In smaller spaces such as an entryway or home office, the painterly shapes and gentle contrast create an inviting presence without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

We would keep surrounding furniture relatively quiet to let the expressive watercolour forms carry the visual weight of the space. Natural light woods or painted furniture in creamy off-white tones allow the softer pinks and greens in the artwork to take center stage. For accents, simple ceramics in terracotta or stoneware naturally reflect the painted vessel in the motif, while unpatterned woven textiles keep the room feeling balanced and calm.

Colour combinations

The motif centers on a palette of soft blush pink, rose, muted buttercup yellow, and warm peach, grounded by earthy sage greens and a smoky taupe bowl against an off-white background. When pairing colours around this mural, we suggest pulling from the warm neutrals in the background with soft ivory or warm chalk paint on adjoining walls. For a richer accent in upholstery or cabinetry, muted olive green or soft rose-clay tones create a natural connection to the floral washes.
