Wallpaper - Moonlit Garden V

Our Moonlit Garden V wallpaper, designed by Katie Pertiet, brings together vintage ephemera and delicate botanical illustration into a balanced mural composition. Scripted typography reading "grace in bloom" sits at the centre, framed by climbing white wild roses, pale yellow blossoms, soft green foliage, and fluttering butterflies. The background layers aged paper textures, vintage postal marks, and antique newsprint fragments, creating a gentle collage effect with subtle depth. Printed to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, this design brings character and quiet charm to your interior.

In the room

We love how this mural wallpaper creates an immediate focal point while maintaining a soft, airy atmosphere. Because the composition features an open central area framed by botanical illustrations on either side, it works particularly well on an accent wall behind a bed in a primary bedroom or guest room. In a living room or reading nook, placing this wall mural on a main feature wall allows the layered vintage typography and botanical details to be appreciated up close without competing with lower furniture.

The gentle neutral background and delicate green and cream tones also make this design feel right at home in a tranquil home office, dressing room, or quiet hallway. It sits comfortably in spaces that receive soft morning light, which highlights the subtle differences in the vintage paper layers and botanical petals.

Styling it

To complement the nostalgic, romantic aesthetic of this design, we recommend pairing it with furniture and accessories that echo its vintage character.

• Choose furniture in warm, natural wood finishes or vintage painted wood, such as antique off-white or distressed cream, to harmonise with the aged paper background.
• Introduce soft, tactile textiles like washed linen drapes, woven cotton throws, or a low-pile neutral rug that keep the surrounding space relaxed and understated.
• Incorporate subtle aged metal accents, such as antique brass lamps or patinated picture frames, which pick up on the vintage ephemera detailing in the motif.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on soft ivory, aged parchment cream, muted sage green, pale buttercup yellow, and charcoal script.

When choosing paint colours for adjacent walls, trim, or cabinetry, we suggest continuing these muted tones throughout the room. Soft warm whites and antique creams keep the space bright and cohesive, while a gentle sage or olive green on surrounding woodwork draws out the botanical foliage. If you want a subtle contrast, consider a soft taupe or muted grey that echoes the printed typography.
