Wallpaper - At the End of the Day

Our At the End of the Day wallpaper mural, created by artist Krystal Adams, captures a peaceful countryside scene centered around a classic red barn framed by a tall, leafy tree. Painted with visible canvas texture and painterly brushstrokes, the artwork balances rustic warmth with soft, dappled light. Earthy barn red, soft grey roof tones, warm golden yellows, and rich foliage greens create an inviting rural landscape with genuine artistic depth. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure according to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully as a scenic wall mural in living rooms, dining rooms, or welcoming entryways where its landscape composition can unfold. Because the artwork features a prominent red barn on the left balanced by an expansive leafy tree on the right, it naturally commands visual focus across an accent wall. In an open dining area or behind a living room sofa, the lower placement of the architecture keeps the upper wall airy and open, allowing generous ceiling height or surrounding light to complement the gentle sky tones.

Styling it

To let the painterly landscape stand at the heart of the room, we suggest keeping adjacent furniture simple and grounded. Natural wood furniture in warm or mid-toned finishes complements the rustic tones of the barn, while vintage or cottage-inspired accents feel right at home with the artwork's rural character. Choosing quiet, unpatterned upholstery in cream, oatmeal, or light grey helps balance the scenic detail without visual competition.

Colour combinations

The motif is built around classic barn red, muted slate grey, grassy greens, and soft creamy yellows. Around the wallpaper, warm off-white or soft linen tones on adjoining walls keep the room feeling light and spacious. For a cozier feel, pulling the deep red or muted olive green from the mural onto painted trim, cabinetry, or accent cushions creates a cohesive, grounded look.
