Wallpaper - Blush Sky II

Our Blush Sky II wallpaper, created in collaboration with artist June Erica Vess, captures an open landscape through painterly, expressive brushwork. Soft billows of blush pink, warm apricot, and creamy tones rise against a pale expanse of sky, grounded by sweeping strokes of moss, sage, and deep green along the lower horizon. The composition leaves generous visual breathing room at the top while anchoring the wall below with earthy depth and subtle watery reflections. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the heaviest visual weight sits along the lower portion with expansive, light brushwork above, we particularly like this design in a bedroom or living room. Placed behind a low-backed sofa or behind a bed frame, the grounded green landscape naturally aligns with the furniture line, allowing the soft blush clouds to open upward and lend a calm, airy atmosphere to the upper wall.

In a dining room or wide hallway, the panoramic sweep of the brushstrokes draws the eye horizontally, making an uninterrupted wall feel expansive. The gentle contrast between the blush tones and muted greens works equally well in smaller rooms where you want visual character without visual clutter, as the open space in the upper left keeps the wall feeling uncluttered.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with simple furniture lines and quiet, natural textures that let the painterly quality of the mural wallpapers take centre stage. Low-profile seating in soft cream, taupe, or neutral linen complements the airy upper section of the mural, while warm wooden pieces in ash, oak, or light walnut harmonise with the earthy green tones along the base.

To balance the broad, expressive strokes of the artwork, keep decorative accents subtle. Matte ceramic vessels, quiet woven textiles, and minimal brushed metal accents provide texture without competing with the soft movement across the wall.

Colour combinations

The palette within our wallpaper centres on soft blush pink, pale peach, and ivory, counterbalanced by olive, sage, and deep forest green across the base.

When choosing paint colours for adjoining walls and woodwork, we like using a soft off-white or light warm stone that matches the pale background of the sky. If you prefer deeper contrast, pulling a muted olive or dark forest green onto window frames, skirting boards, or nearby cabinetry beautifully anchors the room and echoes the deeper tones in the lower horizon. Soft terracotta, warm beige, and pale blush textiles also work naturally as secondary accents throughout the space.
