Wallpaper - Folk Animals III

Our Folk Animals III wallpaper, designed by Omar Escalante, brings an expressive folk-art character to the wall with a bold central rooster motif framed by decorative vines, geometric borders, and a glowing sun. Rendered in a rich palette of terracotta orange, deep charcoal black, sage green, and warm yellow, the artwork pairs painterly textures with stylized graphic patterns that give it an artisanal, hand-crafted feel. The balanced, framed composition creates an immediate visual anchor, making it a distinctive focal point in any interior. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

The central composition and graphic border of this design make it naturally suited to an accent wall where the full artwork can be displayed without interruption. In a dining area, kitchen, or breakfast nook, we like placing it behind a dining table or along a primary feature wall where its warm terracotta backdrop and folk character add depth and personality. It also works wonderfully in an entryway or hallway, creating an inviting visual statement as soon as you step into the home. Because the motif is contained within a defined decorative border, giving it a relatively open wall space allows the complete artwork and its framing elements to be enjoyed at their intended scale.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with furnishings that reflect its grounded, rustic character while keeping the surrounding room visually uncluttered:

• Natural wood furniture, such as warm oak, pine, or walnut, harmonizes effortlessly with the earthy orange background and organic motifs.
• Simple ceramic decor, matte black metal accents, or wrought-iron hardware echo the graphic charcoal linework within the illustration without competing for attention.
• Understated linen or woven cotton textiles in neutral tones like cream, oatmeal, or muted olive soften the space and let the wallpaper remain the clear hero of the room.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a warm terracotta background complemented by saturated charcoal, soft sage green, creamy white, and sunny yellow highlights. When selecting paint colors and furnishings for the surrounding space, we suggest pulling from the softer tones in the pattern. Muted sage green or warm off-white on adjacent walls creates a balanced, harmonious atmosphere, while deep charcoal or dark forest green accents can be used on woodwork, trim, or cabinetry to echo the strong outlines of the motif.
