Wallpaper - Agate Nebula I

Created by June Erica Vess, our Agate Nebula I wallpaper captures the fluid movement of ink and pigment washing across canvas. We love how deep cobalt and vibrant cyan tones bleed into softer sky blues, cool greys, and deep inky accents, creating an organic, cloud-like composition with subtle visual texture. The fluid transitions and varying pigment densities give the design a sense of depth and continuous motion across the wall. Made to measure to your exact dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers are designed to be straightforward to hang while bringing a distinctive, expressive character into your home.

In the room

In a living room or bedroom, this design works especially well as a focal point on an open, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full expanse of the fluid wash can unfold. Because the composition balances intense, deep blue areas with airy, diluted washes, it carries enough presence to define a room without feeling visually crowded. We also see it working beautifully in a dedicated home office or reading corner, where the flowing abstract forms provide an atmospheric backdrop behind a desk or low armchair.

Styling it

Because the motif carries a strong artistic presence, we suggest keeping larger surrounding furniture relatively clean in line and understated in form.

• Pair the wallpaper with light natural timber, such as bleached ash or white oak, to keep the space open and balance the deeper indigo tones.
• Ground the room with matte black or dark charcoal accents in lighting fixtures or slender table frames to echo the darker pigment pools in the artwork.
• Choose neutral upholstery in off-white, light grey, or unbleached linen so the furniture complements the design rather than competes with its movement.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a rich spectrum of blues, ranging from deep midnight and cobalt to bright turquoise, translucent cerulean, and soft mineral greys. When choosing surrounding paints for adjacent walls or trim, we recommend soft off-whites with a neutral or slightly cool undertone, or pale whisper-greys that pick up on the lighter washes in the pattern. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deeper slate blue or dark inky charcoal for woodwork, shelving, or accent pieces creates a striking, cohesive dialogue with the design.
