Wallpaper - Gentle Garden IV

Our Gentle Garden IV wallpaper by Cheryl Warrick brings together a stylized, symmetrical botanical motif with a rich, dark backdrop. Graphic orange and vivid pink tulip-like blossoms branch outward from a central sage green stem, framed by neat pairs of green leaves. Subtly wavy vertical stripes run down the deep navy blue background, giving the whole composition a rhythmic, textile-inspired character with visible painted visual texture. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers a grounded yet energetic statement for the home.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully on a feature wall in a living room, dining room, or bedroom where its centered botanical structure can serve as an anchor. Because the motif is bold, graphic, and symmetrical against a deep background, giving it a relatively uninterrupted wall allows the full height and spread of the branching florals to be appreciated. In a dining area behind a sideboard or as a focal point behind a bed frame, the high contrast brings definition without feeling chaotic.

In rooms with plenty of daylight, the interplay between the deep navy backdrop and the warm orange and pink petals stands out with particular clarity. In smaller spaces like a powder room or an entryway, the dark field creates an enveloping, cozy atmosphere while the vibrant floral shapes provide visual life.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we recommend balancing its graphic clarity with clean, unfussy furnishings. Simple mid-century modern or contemporary furniture silhouettes let the stylized botanical artwork take center stage without competing for attention.

• Pair with warm, mid-tone woods like walnut or teak to echo the earthy warmth of the orange petals and ground the dark navy tones.
• Choose surrounding upholstered furniture or large textiles in solid, neutral weaves such as warm cream, oatmeal, or deep charcoal to keep visual focus on the floral pattern.
• Incorporate matte black or aged brass light fixtures to mirror the tailored lines and warm color accents of the design.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a striking palette of deep midnight navy, warm marigold orange, radiant berry pink, and earthy sage green.

To create a cohesive interior, we suggest pulling directly from these tones when choosing adjacent wall paints and decor. A muted sage green on adjacent walls or woodwork softens the transition and connects with the foliage in the motif. For a bolder, monochromatic look, deep navy or inky blue walls will make the wallpaper feel naturally integrated while letting the pink and orange blossoms pop. If you prefer a lighter, higher-contrast environment, warm off-white or soft linen tones on adjoining walls provide a crisp, clean frame.
