Wallpaper - Shadow Botanical II

Our Shadow Botanical II wallpaper presents an expressive, painted branch of trailing leaves rendered in deep black silhouettes against a soft off-white background. Designed by Julia Purinton, the composition balances bold leaf shapes with delicate branching stems, creating an elegant horizontal flow across the wall. The contrast between dark botanical forms and the quiet, canvas-like backdrop gives our wallpaper a striking graphic presence while keeping the overall impression refined and airy. Produced made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, this design is PVC-free and printed on paper with a subtle physical surface structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an accent wall where the botanical branch can stretch out horizontally without competing with tall furniture. In a living room, placing this mural wallpaper behind a low-profile sofa allows the sweeping silhouettes to take center stage. It also makes a distinctive statement behind a headboard in a bedroom or along the focal wall of a dining room, where the clean high-contrast artwork establishes an artistic, grounded atmosphere without overwhelming the space.

Styling it

Because the botanical silhouette carries a strong graphic weight, we suggest pairing it with clean-lined furniture and organic textures that complement its natural theme. Lighter wood finishes such as bleached oak or ash bring warmth that softens the stark black and white palette, while a few subtle matte black metal accents in lighting or chair frames can tie in the deep tones of the leaves. Keeping surrounding decorative accessories minimal and low-slung ensures the branch composition retains its sense of openness and movement across the room.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is defined by rich black brushstrokes set against an off-white, light cream ground. To build a cohesive interior around it, we like combining it with warm neutral wall paints on adjacent surfaces, such as soft ivory, linen, or pale stone. Deep charcoal and warm grey tones also work wonderfully in upholstery and drapery to echo the dark leaves without feeling harsh.
