Wallpaper - Grand Tetons in Summer

Our Grand Tetons in Summer wallpaper captures the rugged grandeur of the mountain range in striking monochrome tones. Created by Nathan Larson, this photographic wall mural balances the sharp, snow-dusted ridgelines and towering peaks against soft cloud formations and a dense foreground of pine forest. The rich sepia and charcoal palette gives the scene an enduring, classic character that adds depth and perspective to a room. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of the bold vertical presence of the mountain peak and the broad horizon of the treeline, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an expansive, uninterrupted feature wall. In a living room behind a sofa or across a primary bedroom wall behind the headboard, the landscape creates an immediate sense of scale and open air. It also suits a study or home office where the natural, contemplative mood of the landscape brings visual balance to a focused environment.

For rooms with taller ceilings, the dramatic sky and high summit make full use of the vertical height, drawing the eye upward. On wider walls, the panoramic spread of snow-covered ridges and forested hillsides keeps the entire room grounded.

Styling it

To complement the rich monochrome tones of this design, we recommend keeping surrounding furnishings grounded with natural materials and clean silhouettes:

• Pair with warm wood tones such as walnut, teak, or stained oak to echo the earthy, sepia depth of the photographic tones without overwhelming the scene.
• Select upholstery and textiles in textured natural weaves, such as heavy linen, wool, or canvas in off-white, taupe, or charcoal, which sit comfortably alongside the alpine imagery.
• Choose understated black metal or brushed bronze accents in lighting and hardware to subtly reflect the darkest shadows of the forest canopy.

Colour combinations

The palette within the wallpaper itself consists of deep sepia browns, charcoal blacks, soft stone greys, and warm off-whites where the sunlight catches the snow.

When choosing colors for adjacent walls, trim, and cabinetry, we suggest leaning into warm neutrals. A soft alabaster, linen white, or pale greige on surrounding walls keeps the space bright while allowing the deeper tones of the mountain mural to stand out. For a bolder, more enveloping feel, a deep espresso or muted charcoal on woodwork or built-in shelving creates a handsome, cohesive frame around the wallpaper.
