Wallpaper - Palette Throughline II

Created by June Erica Vess, our Palette Throughline II wallpaper brings an expressive, abstract composition to the wall with gestural brushwork and lively color accents. Centered on a warm, earthy parchment background, the motif balances broad painted strokes of soft white, petal pink, and vibrant turquoise with energetic touches of ochre orange, terracotta red, and delicate sketched line work. The open, asymmetric layout gives the design a modern gallery feel while leaving breathing room across the surface. Like all our wallpapers, this design is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because of its painterly, off-center visual weight, we see this design working beautifully on a main feature wall in a living room, dining space, or bedroom. The generous open area around the central painted forms allows the design to feel airy rather than crowded, making it an excellent choice for rooms where you want artistic presence without overwhelming the space.

In a living room or bedroom, placing this wallpaper behind a low-profile sofa or headboard keeps the most vibrant brushstrokes visible and creates a natural focal point. It also adapts well to a home office or creative studio, where the expressive shapes and loose linework introduce visual energy without cluttering smaller wall areas.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with furnishings that have clean silhouettes and understated finishes so the artwork remains the central focus. Low-slung contemporary furniture in warm natural woods or neutral painted tones will complement the warm backdrop without competing with the colorful brushwork.

For accents and upholstery, lean into simple, unpatterned fabrics that pick up on one or two of the design's secondary tones, such as soft pink, terracotta, or warm ochre. Matte ceramic accessories, minimalist lighting, and clean-lined architectural details help ground the expressive quality of the mural wallpapers and maintain a balanced, modern interior.

Colour combinations

The motif features a warm neutral base enriched by a palette of white, pastel pink, bright turquoise, ochre, and warm terracotta.

To create a cohesive scheme around the wallpaper, we suggest carrying the warm parchment or off-white background onto adjacent walls and architectural trim. If you prefer more contrast, grounding surrounding elements with deep terracotta, warm clay, or muted slate grey will anchor the room, while smaller decorative accents in turquoise or soft rose echo the playful energy of the painted brush marks.
